WHAT WE TARGET

We are fishing for Gummy Shark from February to April

Fish for the great tasting Gummy Shark (Flake). We plan our trips around the the tides and moon. See our online booking calendar for exact details on gummy trips as these may change.

Visit our online bookings to check availability. Gummy trips are not suitable for children. Times subject to change. These trips are held midweek February to May in the evenings from Queenscliff.

Twighlight Weekday Gummy Shark Trips

Get your mates together or join a group and join us for a Twilight Gummy Trip on the Bay.

  • Numbers are capped at 8 Per Trip
  • Heaps of room on our 32 Foot Boat
  • $180 Per Person
  • Min $1000 for Boat if less than 8 People

WHAT TO BRING

  • Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence
  • Your own food (no bananas allowed) and drinks (alcohol is not permitted on Gummy Shark Trips)
  • Esky to store your food and drinks and bring home your catch
  • Sunscreen, warm jacket and sunglasses
  • Please ensure you wear suitable layered fishing clothing and footwear.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • All gear including rods, reels, tackle and fresh bait
  • On boat assistance from our experienced and friendly Skipper and Deckhand
  • Your fish is cleaned, filleted and bagged onboard ready to take home
  • Marine toilet onboard
  • Simply portable BBQ available for use by groups only
  • Safety equipment to survey and full safety briefing takes place before departure.

BOAT INFORMATION

Kyena, our custom built 32 foot vessel has been lovingly restored and maintained. She has plenty of room. She is surveyed to travel inside the Bay, she is not permitted to go outside the heads.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Once you are booked assume your booking is going ahead, in very bad conditions the trip will be cancelled. You will receive a text or phone call after 5:30pm once we get the latest weather update
  • Arrive at Queenscliff Harbour 10 minutes before departure
  • Ensure you have a light meal before your trip
  • If you require travel calm tablets please consult your pharmacist the day prior to your trip
  • Gummy Trips are not recommended for Children
