FAQs

Where are you located?

Our charters depart from Queenscliff Harbour, next to the Ferry Terminal at Queenscliff. Our boat is moored in front of the Parks Victoria Building in the harbour. Look out for the orange sunset sign on our boat. If we are out fishing, a blue and yellow advert sign with a lady holding up a gummyshark in the photo is on the boardwalk where we depart.

Can you take large groups?

If you have a large group we can arrange for a second boat on demand, but bookings must be made well in advance to allow availability of other charter vessels at the same time.

What bait do you use?

We use only the best bait and always try and supply our customers with freshly caught bait whenever we can.

I have never fished before is that a problem?

If you have not fished before we recommend you take a Bay Fishing Charter. Our crew will give you tuition on your fishing charter. Your skipper & deckhands are more than happy to help you catch the fish of a lifetime. First timers are made feel welcome and our crew are very patient.

You are quite welcome to bring alcohol on the boat. If the charter is a made up group of different lots of people you are obliged to remember to be considerate of other people. We do take a lot of women & children on our charters. Do you go out in rough water?

If the trip is cancelled due to rough weather ie. 25/30 knot wind warning you are either put on another day or your money is refunded.
